Wednesday Oct 15 outlook

SHPG is getting knocked 24% in the pre here on news the deal with ABBV is being reconsidered. However, Bernstein claims there's a 75% chance the deal goes through. It traded at a low of 178.64 and is currently trading around 187 after it had closed yesterday at 246. This may be strangle worthy today.

INTC is out with earnings that posted a positive initial reaction yesterday but has since turned negative. It closed at 32.15 and is currently trading down 3.3% at 31 after having hit a high of 33. Its average earnings reaction is |3.2%| with a high of 9.3% and a low of 6.3%.

CL_F is down at 81.72, it was trading near 80 earlier. Last time oil traded at 80 was in June of 2012 and Iran threatened to shutdown the Strait of Hormuz. Granted, that was over US sanctions but nonetheless...

Yesterday Recap:
Neither C nor JPM really moved. However JNJ opened at 100.50 then dropped like a stone to 96 within the first half hour of trade after posting earnings. It rebounded to 99 before closing at 97.
