Thursday Oct 9 outlook

GPS is getting knocked on moderate volume of 1.5m shares traded in the pre. The stock closed at 41.90 and is currently trading at 37.36 after bouncing off the lows at 37.10. This comes after the company reported flat same store sales and announced the CEO will retire as will a chairman. The IV into the report was at 75% while the Oct opex was 41%

Carl Icahn has issued a letter to AAPL demanding more stock buybacks stating the Co. is worth $203/share, which would put the company's mkt cap at $1.2 trillion... The stock is up 0.7% at 101.52 after having closed at 100.80. AAPL weekly IV is at 26% while Oct opex is at 23%

Tuesday Oct 7 Recap:

SODA: opened at 22.30 hit a high of 22.58, a low of 21.39 and closed at 21.52. IV opened at 55 and rocketed up to 90 within four minutes of the open.
TCS: imploded after opening at 19.07, it hit 19.35 then sold off to 15.98 before closing at 16.44. It was pricing on thin volume in the pre.
GMCR: Opened at 136.62 and hit a high of 140.52 before closing at 139.75. IV was juiced off the open but a straddle would have been mildly profitable.

Action:
AMAT saw weekly 20.5 calls trade 2500x for around .25 against OI of 108 when stock was at 20.38. Stock is currently at 21
LNG saw strange buying of Oct31 100 calls BTO for .30 5300x against OI of 1. The stock was at 75.65. The stock is currently at 72 after tanking yesterday.
DIS saw 2200 wkly 89 calls BTO for .28 with the stock around 87.50. It's currently at 88.11
BBBY had an Icahn t/o rumor at 1045. The stock popped from 66.75 to 67 then sold back off to close at 66 by EOD
