Monday Jan 12 outlook

All kinds of things going on this AM. Oil is at fresh new lows trading at 46.55. The SPY is trading at 204.22, about where it closed on Friday at 204.25. TIF, LULU, BMY and SNDK are all in the news this AM.

Tiffany & Co. TIF, -8.41% reduced its fiscal 2015 profit outlook, citing “disappointing” holiday sales.

TT Notes: Jan IV closed at 53% on Friday. Currently below its 50 day MA (103.64) and 200 day MA (97.65) as the stock trades around 94.50 with 83k shares trading in the pre.

SanDisk Corp. SNDK, -8.66%  on Monday cut its outlook for sales and gross margins.

TT Notes: Wouldn't be surprised to see NVDA trade in sympathy to SNDK. SNDK is currently trading below 50 dma (98.59) and 200 dma (94.68) as it trades around 88.25 with 555k shares traded in the pre. IV closed at 42% implying a move of 3.90 by opex.

Lululemon Athletica Inc. LULU, +6.43%  raised its profit and sales outlook for its fiscal fourth quarter, citing strong holiday results.

TT Notes: Friday it closed at 58.63, currently up 6.5% at 62.25 on 144k shares traded. It's trading well above it's 50 and 200 dma's, 49 and 44.35 respectively. Its 8 dema is 57 and its 20 dema is 54.70. IV closed at 54%, implying a move of 4.70 by opex.

Bristol-Myers Squibb's ($BMY) standout immuno-oncology drug nivolumab, approved last month as Opdivo, scored a resounding success in a late-stage lung cancer trial, bolstering sales expectations for the pioneering treatment.

TT Notes: BMY is up 6% at 63.90 after closing friday at 60.45 on 150k shares traded. Its trading above all MAs, the 8dema is 59.70 and the 20dema is 59.45. IV closed at 51%, implying a move of 2.20 by opex.
