Wednesday Oct 29 outlook

FB is out with earnings which have sent the shares down 5.5%, they were down as much as 10% at one point. FB average move is 7%, it moved 5.2% last Q. Here's the summary from MW:

Facebook Inc. FB, -5.91%  said its third-quarter earnings rose 90% on the back of strong mobile advertising. The social-media company also said its monthly active users grew to 1.35 billion from 1.32 billion in the second quarter and 1.19 billion a year earlier. However, worries about growing expenses, resulted in shares falling 7.5%.

GT is out with earnings today and it has the stock up 10% in the pre-mkt. This comes after a rumor yesterday of the company being taken out via LBO which sent the shares up from 21.40 to 21.99. From MW:

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. GT, +6.31%  reported third-quarter adjusted earnings that topped analyst estimates. The stock surged 9.

INVN is getting smoked this AM, down 21% from 21.50 to 17 on disappointing earnings. It's also getting tagged left and right with downgrades. The stock saw volume in the Nov 20 puts, weekly 20, 19.5 and 19 puts going into the report.

Tuesday Recap:
NQ dropped over 10% on the day after Carson Block reiterated the company was a fraud.

GME was a solid short off the open on the WMT used game news.  

TWTR ended up trading 5.2% yesterday for a swing.

GT at 10:47am had the LBO rumor. The stock popped from 21 to 21.40 then trended higher throughout the day to close at 21.99.

CLF at 10:58 was halted on an upper limit circuit breaker. The stock had opened around 9.50 dropped to a low of about 8.80 then traded around 9.40 before ripping to 10.25 before it was halted. It hit a high of 11.30 shortly after the halt and closed near 11.25 on the day. Huge short interest in the name.

GMCR at 11:14 had a t/o rumor from KO saying KO would takeout the whole company. The stock popped on weak volume from 146 to147.5 before dropping back to the 146 level. It closed at 146.50 on the day.
