Tuesday April 15 pre-mkt outlook

The /ES finished yesterday at 1824. It traded in a tight range overnight between 1822 and 1826. It's trading to the upside around 1829 after hitting a high of 1830 around 0830. The 10yr finished around 2.639 and is currently hovering around 2.646. The VIX finished at 16.2 after hitting a day high of 17.4.

$KO is out with earnings this AM. It closed at 38.69 and is currently trading around 39.60. It hit a pre-mkt high of 39.95. Here's what MW had to say:



Coca-Cola Co. KO +2.43%  shares gained 2.8%. The soft-drink company on Tuesday posted first-quarter adjusted earnings of 44 cents, in line with estimates. Net operating revenues fell to $10.58 billion from $11.04 billion a year ago, beating expectations. Global volume grew 2% in that period and the company said it expects to repurchase $2.5 billion to $3 billion shares this year.

$JNJ is trading higher after posting earnings this AM. It closed yesterday at 97.25 and is currently trading around 99.10 after hitting a pre-mkt high of 99.50. From MW:

Johnson & Johnson JNJ +2.02%  shares rose 2.5%. The company posted first-quarter adjusted net earnings of $1.54 a share as sales rose to $18.1 billion from $17.5 billion, beating expectations. Johnson & Johnson said it now expects full-year adjusted earnings of $5.80 to $5.90 a share, higher than previously stated guidance.
